Our Pastor

Elder Gore was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on August 2, 1998, and received the Holy

Ghost on June 8, 2004, during a Youth Convocation here at The United Church of God. He was

ordained an official Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on October 30, 2010.

On June 2, 2012, Elder Gore was ordained as an Elder and Pastor of the United Church of God in

Johnston, South Carolina. On December 29, 2012, he was united in Holy Matrimony with his

childhood friend and beloved, Sister Chandra Denise Gore.

As Elder Gore anticipates the imminent arrival of the Lord, he diligently seeks the Lord and

makes himself more available to God and his congregation. His ultimate objective is to continue

the growth and expansion of the Kingdom of God. He firmly believes that the best is yet to come

in Jesus’ name.
